Sandwitch Distribution Schedule

What:

Volunteer every second Saturday morning to make sandwiches for the homeless and deliver at the Mission or the Salvation Army downtown. Youth will also deliver rice for the Women's Shelter, which Ladies' Wing volunteers drop off around 10:30 a.m.

When:

9:00 a.m. on the Saturday morning

Where:

Meet at the Centre to make the sandwiches. If nobody in your group has a key, the driver is responsible for phoning Anand and making arrangements to have the Centre Opened.

How:

The driver is in charge of buying the groceries for the Saturday or coordinating the purchase of the groceries between the group. The expense can be divided among the group or centre will reimburse (receipts for the groceries must be submitted to Baskaran Uncle). Please ensure you clean up the kitchen once you are finished. After distribution, e-mail whole group with, a list of the leftover non-perishable ingredients like cream cheese and mustard. The group going the week after doesn't have to buy those ingredients if there are enough. There is a bulk supply of sandwich bags in the drawer labeled for this sandwich distribution project.

Who:

Below is the schedule for the next few months, distributing every second Saturday. If you cannot make it on your assigned day, please find a replacement ahead of time and inform Anand (884 3384) right away.
